| Committed
to Quality, TYCON
are NV certified to ISO 9000. Based in Manchester, with full
UK coverage, TYCON
are backed by more than 60 years of practical experience in
the IBC industry (ISO9002). |
|
| Statutory
Compliance. The Department of Transport advises that
"IBCs are reusable packagings and as such can remain in
service for many years if regularly retested to UN/ADR requirements
to the satisfaction of the Competent Authority." The required
re-tests can now be rapidly undertaken to ensure that UN/ADR
certification is kept up to date, as legally required. Speedy
repair and maintenance of damaged containers means IBC fleets
are managed to optimum efficiency and safety. |
| Pressure
Vessel Directive. The HSE states that
"The users and owners of pressure systems covered by a
written scheme of examination have a legal responsibility to
ensure that those systems are examined by a competent person
in accordance with the scheme." This applies to all IBC's
and transportable containers which have a working pressure of
more than 0.5bar even if they are shipped at atmospheric pressure
and are only discharged at greater than 0.5bar. |
| Mobile
Service. To keep the cost of UN/ADR and
pressure testing within reason, TYCON
have developed a team of mobile engineers able to offer a full
testing and service facility nationwide on specific contracts
or annual CONTAINERCARE™
fleet service agreements where parts and labour are included. |
